The wool in this garment is treated for extra dirt- and water-resistant properties. This treatment is PFOA-free and complies with the EU REACH regulation. The windproof lining in the garment adds further water resistance. Combined, the treatment and the lining achieve an 8000 mm waterproof rating. Please note that this garment doesn’t have taped seams and therefore is regarded as water resistant, not waterproof. This is a comfortable garment with high breathability, keeping you warm and dry on windy days, in light showers.

This is the windproof version of our bestselling Vail sweater. The Vail sweater was the official team sweater for the U.S. Alpine and Snowboard teams during the 2006-07 season. The design is inspired by the traditional Norwegian eight-petal rose pattern.
