Production in Norway
With production in Norway, we are in control of our work environment and the compliance of health and safety protocols (HSE). Classic issues seemingly sticked to production in developing countries, such as exploitation of workers, dangerous working environments and polluting emissions are thus avoided.
We have always had a thriving work environment at Dale, characterized by comradery and unity. You can learn more about our employees and the strong connection between the factory and the locals here.
While we are knitting our garments at Dale, the knitted panels are stitched together at our factory in Poland. Being wholly owned by Dale of Norway, we are in control of the compliance of health and safety protocols at this factory. The factory, named Wool Group Poland, is located in the city of Bartoszyce, north-east in Poland. You can learn more about our factory here.
We solely cooperate with suppliers complying with high standards of worker’s welfare and work environment. Washing, dyeing and spinning of our merino wool takes place in the EU (Austria, Italy and the Czech Republic) with strict EU-legislation throughout. Washing of our Norwegian wool takes place in England. Knitting of our next-to-skin garments takes place in Sweden and Poland.
